Adams Point Residents,
Currently there is a strong possibility that Hurricane Irma may impact North Carolina. It is important to prepare NOW. We realize that there are a number of residents that have never experienced a hurricane and may be unfamiliar with the possible impact or what they should do to prepare. There are many things we don’t have control over, like power outages, flooding, and wind damage, however there are many things you can do to prepare and help minimize the impact on your property and others.
Please secure all lawn furniture, play sets, trampolines, grills, and any other exposed items that may be picked up by large force winds. Often a hurricane will produce large winds, strong gust, and even tornados.
