SPRING IS HERE, and it’s that time again to get your yard in shape!

Hurricane Matthew Disaster Relief

Hurricane Matthew has left a trail of destruction in our state. Adams Point experienced several days without power and some homeowners had to deal with downed trees and water damage. While our community had to deal with some issues, we have seen that many people in our state have dealt with life threatening conditions that have left them homeless due to historic flooding. A vast majority of these people had to leave their homes so quickly, they were unable to pack any clothing or other personal items needed for basic hygiene.

Individually we may not be able to do much, but as a community we believe we can be a force for good. Beginning today and continuing through the Adams Point Fall Spooktacular on October 29th the Adams Point Board of Directors will be organizing a hurricane relief drive to benefit those in our area that have lost their homes and possessions due to Hurricane Matthew. The collection site will be in front of the Adams Point Pool. Please place nonperishable items such as clothes, canned food, diapers, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, and hygiene items (soap, shampoo, female hygiene products etc.) in the receptacle. Please place any bottle water or heavy items next to the receptacle for easier collection. The bin will be emptied often to prevent damage or theft of the items.

Thank you all for your support.

Pool Closing Sept 18th at 10pm

The pool will officially close for the season September 18th at 10pm. The board of directors would like to thank all of our Adams Point neighbor’s for a fantastic summer! We hope you all enjoyed lounging under the new palm trees and smelling all of the fresh flowers. We are looking forward to a productive fall and winter of planning for the future of our community and are excited about what that future holds!
